Internship Program
Judd Foundation’s Internship Program is available for undergraduate students of art history interested in gaining experience in conducting research and assisting staff with a range of programmatic activities.
Working from 101 Spring Street—Donald Judd’s New York studio and residence—interns will gain hands-on experience in several aspects of collections management and public programming at a non-profit arts organization. Interns will assist with research and program development on an artist oral history project, managing a tour program at an historic art institution, coordinating press materials and assisting with regular public programs at a nonprofit arts organization. Additional projects that match the interests and skills of applicants are also available. This internship is unpaid but provides great exposure to the foundation’s core programs and activities.
Schedule: Fall, Spring and Summer positions available
Flexible hours, 2-3 mornings/afternoons per week, or 10-15 hours
Please send resume, letter of interest and availability to: jmoon@juddfoundation.org.
Internships are also available at our Marfa, TX offices. Please inquire for further details.
The Judd Foundation was created in 1996 by Donald Judd’s last will and testament to maintain and preserve his permanently-installed living and working spaces, libraries and archives in Texas and New York. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting a wider understanding of and appreciation for Judd’s artistic legacy by facilitating public access to these spaces and resources, and by developing scholarly and educational programs.
