This work was originally made as a prototype and envisioned as being installed as stacked units of equal-sized blocks placed adjacent to one another in a configuration of 2-4-8 with overall dimensions of the piece measuring 10 x 70 x 10 inches. The work may be installed on the floor or on a table, and is intended to be seen from all directions.  The current configuration was determined by Judd sometime after 1991 and remains installed as he last arranged the units.
