A discussion with Julian Rose, historian and visiting lecturer at Princeton University. Rose, who has written extensively about Donald Judd’s architectural practice, focuses on specific projects housed with the ithe Architecture Office. These include realized and unrealized architectural projects by Judd.

Julian Rose is a critic and historian. From 2012 to 2018, he was a senior editor at Artforum, and he has written extensively on art and architecture, with a focus on intersections between the two fields, contributing essays to monographs and exhibition catalogs on artists including Valie Export, Sarah Oppenheimer, Fred Sandback, and Richard Serra. He regularly contributes to a wide range of publications including Aperture, Architectural Review, Artforum, Bookforum, Log, Perspecta, and October.
