Alexis Lowry is Curatorial Senior Director at Hauser & Wirth. Prior to joining the gallery, she held positions at Dia Art Foundation, the David Winton Bell Gallery, and Creative Time. As an art historian and writer, her research interests include the legacies of Minimalism, Postminimalism, and Land art in contemporary practice.

Josiah McElheny (b. 1966, Boston, MA) lives and works in New York. His sculptures, paintings, installations, performances, and films engage with the history of ideas across wide-ranging fields of study—from literature to architecture, music theory, and astronomy—transforming this research into physical form. He received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, and apprenticed with master glassblowers Ronald Wilkins, Jan-Erik Ritzman, Sven-Ake Caarlson, and Lino Tagliapietra. He has exhibited widely, including solo shows at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, CA (2024); the Cantor Arts Center, Stanford University, CA (2019); Moody Center for the Arts, Rice University, Houston, TX (2018); and MAK Österreichisches Museum für angewandte Kunst, Vienna, Austria (2016) among others.
