A conversation with Rainer Judd, President of Judd Foundation; Alexandra Cunningham Cameron, Director of Design at Judd Foundation; and Wendy Goodman, Design Editor of Curbed and New York Magazine.
They will discuss Donald Judd Spaces, in its new and expanded second edition, and Donald Judd Furniture. Published in partnership with MACK, this revised second edition of Donald Judd Spaces includes newly restored spaces, photographed and published for the first time, as well as elevations, an interview with Judd, and a new foreword.
This event is free and open to the public though advance registration is encouraged. Please note priority will be given to those who have registered in advance, though advance registration does not guarantee admission once the event reaches capacity.
Alexandra Cunningham Cameron is Director of Design at Judd Foundation. Her career has spanned criticism, publishing, public art and consulting across sectors, and she has served as Curator of Contemporary Design and Hintz Secretarial Scholar at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, as editor in chief of independent arts journal The Miami Rail and creative director of the Design Miami/ fairs. Cameron has organized a broad range of programs including international events, commissions and award-winning exhibitions with artists, designers and architects such as Willi Smith, Duro Olowu, SITE, Terrol Dew Johnson, Aranda\Lasch, Yona Friedman, Dozie Kanu, Philippe Malouin, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and Jamilah Sabur. Her work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, Financial Times and PIN-UP in addition to catalogues, journals, and monographs.
Wendy Goodman is Curbed and New York Magazine’s design editor. She began as the magazine’s fashion editor in 1984 and began writing the “Design Hunting” column in 2007. She is the author of The World of Gloria Vanderbilt and May I Come In? and co-authored Tony Duquette with Hutton Wilkinson.
