Judd Foundation has named Alexandra Cunningham Cameron as Director of Design, a newly created role bridging the Foundation’s commercial, scholarly, and cultural design initiatives.
Cameron will oversee Judd Furniture LLC, a company of Judd Foundation, guiding product development, operations, and strategic growth while upholding the ethos of Judd’s design and fabrication. The development of this new role and investment marks an evolution in the forty-year history of Judd Foundation and Donald Judd® Furniture.
The position continues the Foundation’s commitment to Judd’s design as a fundamental aspect of his life, work and thinking, and expands its engagement with global design audiences. Working with Rainer Judd, President, and Flavin Judd, Artistic Director, Cameron will lead design initiatives that situate Judd’s work within cultural and design conversations with a focus on Judd’s writings and papers.
This role builds upon recent design partnerships and furniture exhibitions in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
