Saturday, April 25
1:00pm–7:00pm
Marfa, TX
An afternoon of programs to celebrate the opening of Donald Judd’s Ranch Office.
Join Judd Foundation for a day of free programs, including a public talk, open hours, and a tailgate celebration.
Following the integration of art and architecture in his living and working spaces throughout Marfa, Donald Judd permanently installed ten works of art in the Ranch Office–eight wall reliefs and two floor boxes–alongside maps and ranching equipment. Judd’s installation in the space invites visitors to view works that illustrate his practice of working forward and backward across time, that reinterpret old ideas in new and fresh ways.
The Ranch Office will be one of eight buildings currently open to the public through the guided visit program in Marfa.
All events are free and open to the public.
